Rumors are going around Lincoln that Cody Glenn and/or Kenny Wilson will be transferring at the end of the year. Both cannot be happy with how many carries they have been getting in games since Brandon Jackson has took over the #1 spot and got 75% of the carries. Glenn and Wilson have rarely been used in the last three games but Coach Norvell said that they both continue to work their butts of during practice and he hasn’t heard anything about either one of them wanting to transfer.
How could we get them the ball more often I’m wondering? Well Kenny Wilson is back on kick return sometimes but the Huskers rarely have had a chance to actually bring a kickoff back for return as most are being kicked into the endzone as touchbacks. I’m not sure if Wilson has ever returned punts, but I don’t like Grixby back there or Nunn. Give that duty to Wilson or Swift in my opinion. About Cody Glenn, if it is third and short he needs to be in the game to pound the rock for the first down plain and simple. Use him at fullback with Lucky or Jackson in at the I-back position. You can run so many plays out of that formation for both backs I think we could do a lot of damage with it. Another thing you might consider is moving Glenn to linebacker where Texas recruited him out of highschool. He didn’t want any part of linebacker then, so I’m wondering why he would now.
My final prediction is that Kenny Wilson transfers to a Div 2 school like Northwest Missouri State and finishes his college career there before being a late round or free agent signee in the NFL. That just my guess though. Lets here yours, please leave some comments and tell us how you feel.

Sam Keller is closer to coming to the University of Nebraska today has the addmissions office has filed his paper work and he is enrolled in school. He has not actually attended a class yet though. Basically Sam just has his paper work done at the school if he does in fact choose the Huskers. Reports are saying it could be official this afternoon. Keller is down to Nebraska and Oklahoma and is supposed to be visiting both of the schools today.
Sam Keller, Arizona State’s starting quarterback from last years team is possibly looking to transfer to Nebraska after being told he can look at other schools. Keller had been told he was the starter this year for the Sun Devils but coach Dirk Koetter then named Rudy Carpenter as the starter. Rumors are going around that players complained when Keller was named the starter and Carpenter had a closed meeting where it was talked about and he decided to name Carpenter the starter instead of Keller.
Keller does have a redshirt that he could use up if this year if he transfers to a Division 1 school and then be eligibile to play in the 2007 season. He could provide experience next year for the Huskers if he does choose and is allowed to become part of the Husker football team.

Well we are all wondering what is going in Harrison Beck’s mind right now. Is he in his car driving back to his homestate of Florida? Beck attended the morning practice yesterday but was no where to be seen for his meetings and afternoon practice.
I have heard that it is because he was listed farther down on the depth chart then he expected and it really blew him away. If that is the case, Harrison needs to use that as motivation and really work hard and know he is only 1 injury away from being the starting quarter back for this Huskers team.ÂÂ
Some Husker Fans have been reading his facebook page and noticing some weird comments about Nebraska, which is making fans really think if Beck really wants to be a Husker. I hope Beck gets things straight and does what he thinks best is for him. He can still help this team this year and for the next few years if that is what he really wants to do.
Reports are saying that Barry Collier is a top 3 finalist for the Athletic Director’s job at Butler. If you remember, Collier coached at Butler before coming to the University of Nebraska.
Most Huskers fans are fed up with Coach Collier right now and would be happy if he left for Butler, but if that does happen it leaves the Huskers scrambling to find a new head coach so late in the off season. It would be very hard to find a head coach this late, or atleast one that they would really want to stay around for more then one year.
Word is that Fox called Steve Pederson the other day and asked if they would mind moving their game to Sunday night instead of Saturday September 2nd. I don’t think this is a great idea when Nebraska has to turn around and play again the next Saturday. I like a full week of rest and a schedule that the players and coaches are used to. Keep it that way please :)ÂÂ
What do you all think about the possible game date move? Leave a comment and lets hear what all the Husker fans have to say.

Rumors going around Lincoln is that Marcus Walker will be transferring to another basketball team. Stating that his style of play does not fit in well with the offense that Coach Barry Collier wants to run. If this is true, exepect Richardson and White to pretty much get all the playing time at point guard this next season.
