Mens basketball coach Doc Sadler received some good news recently when 6-foot-1 point guard Kenyon McNeaill verbally committed to the University of Nebraska. McNeaill averaged 15 points, 3.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while helping guide Conway to a 24-4 record last season.
McNeaill said he was drawn to the Huskers because of their defensive play and the way they generate points off of turnovers. McNeaill called Lincoln and the team the perfect fit and no matter if a team like Memphis comes in with an offer he is staying with the Huskers.
It will be a while before we see McNeaill in a Husker uniform but lets hope he has a great senior season down in Arkansas and arrives on campus 100% healthy and ready to battle it out at the point guard position!
Welcome Kenyon!
