The Nebraska coaching staff hosted quarterback Tyler Gabbert earlier in the week for an un-official visit and Gabbert has committed to the University of Nebraska! We have all heard the name Gabbert as it was just a few years ago when older brother Blaine Gabbert committed to the program before switching and signing with the University of Missouri.
It be interesting to possibly see Blaine vs Tyler in a Big 12 game in the future?
Tyler will be part of the 2010 signing class and he will be trying to recruit other high school players in joining him in Lincoln. Let’s hope he can help the coaches out and get some more guys interested in Nebraska!
Welcome to the Big Red Family Tyler!

It is natural to hold a bit of negative emotion in reserve about his brother Blaine’s double-cross in Lincoln. We need to seek past that and welcome Tyler and the talent he brings to the team, this kids wants to bleed RED!! This kid doesn’t have the height of his brother, but makes up for it with his scrappy, hardnosed play. Welcome Tyler, lets’ go kick some a$$!

“Blaine’s double-cross in Lincoln.”
Don’t get me wrong here, I would love to see Blaine get the same treatment on the scoreboard that Josh Freeman received (0 wins vs the Huskers). But how exactly did Blaine “double-cross” Nebraska?? He committed to a Nebraska program coached by Bill Callahan and his staff. When a coach/staff is fired, all bets are off with their recuits IMO.
This was NOT the same situation that we saw with the Josh the text-master Freeman.
As for Tyler, 6’0 is kind of disapointing but one report said that “he makes things happen”. I hope that’s accurate, its something that can’t be measured except on the field of play.

Please warn your bro that this is Bo’s team and not that fuckin Pussy Bill Callahan hes got something coming for him Go Big Red. Anyway i didnt think Blaine Gabbert was worth all the hype he got off Rivals.com. He was all size, didnt have that great of a High School Campaign to earn a 5 star.
I hope Big Suh Breaks His Ribs
