Coach Marvin Sanders realed in a nice surprise on Saturday evening when 4-star cornerback Anterio Sloan verbally committed to the University of Nebraska. Sloan said everything just felt right after talking to Coach Sanders and they two connected very well. Sloan said that the pharmacy school at Nebraska also helped out as he chose the Huskers over offers from Kentucky and Texas A&M. He will be on campus April 18th for the Spring Game he told reporters.
Sloan is a 5’9 cornerback from West Helena, Arkansas. He made 50 tackles and intercepted five passes last year for West Helena Central, which finished 12-1 after losing in the Arkansas Class 5-A championship game.
Sloan joins Andrew Rodriguez in the 2010 recruiting class. Both players are rated 4-stars by Rivals.
