Quincy Hankins a 6’8 240 lb forward from Polk County Community College in Florida has accepted a basketball scholarship from Doc Sadler reports are saying this morning. Hankins averaged close to 16 points and 12 rebounds a game last year for Polk CC.
Other schools like Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, South Florida, and South Carolina were also recruiting him.
The Huskers are also recruiting Hankins’s teammate Lance Jeter who is a 6’3 point guard. I found it interesting that Jeter used to be a wide receiver on the University of Cincinnati football team. He says he does have some “football weight” to lose but once that is gone he will be “unstoppable.”

Take Quincy!!! He is an arrogant student and chokes when the game is on the line. I cannot wait to see the “big boys” trounce him.
The other schools that wanted him should be happy they did not get him. He can barely place two words together. Don’t believe me, GOOGLE any interview he has ever given.

I had the pleasure of being Quincey’s AAU basketball coach, for 5 years at Long Island Lighning. Quincey played on a very talented AAU team that over the years included: 2 other div. 1 basketball players, 2 div. 2 basketball players, 4 div. 3 basketball players, 3 div.1 lacross players, and 3 div.1 football players. Quincey was the most talented. Contrary to Haynesworth’s comment there are very few other players I would want to have the ball with the game on the line! Nebraska doesn’t know how lucky they are.

lance jeter is going to be great he is known in pennsylvania for his player of the year award his junior year which including him beating out gerald henderson and wayne ellington for that, also his famous game against his rival where he hit 2buzzer beaters and a key three in overtime to keep the game going which ended up with is team winning the championship which was his shot from half court in the final second to win that game which was his 2nd buzzer beater of that game…also against that same team in a regular season game as a sophmore in highschool he hit a buzzer beater from the opposite foul line to take it into ot against that rival which included derrelle revis the pro bowl corner from the jets…..so if they need clutch give it to jeter…..he is the most poised and clutch player ive ever seen play
