The Nebraska Mens Basketball team will continue playing this season as they were selected as a number six seed in the NIT Tournament. They will leave Monday afternoon and head to Albuquerque, N.M. where they will take on New Mexico Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. CST and will be aired on ESPNU.
Sure the Huskers didnt make the big tournament, but the NIT is good for the team as it allows them to continue playing and hopefully get some extra practices and games in. The Lobos however will give the Huskers a battle as they come into the game with a number three seed and an overall record of 21-11.
