It sure wasn’t pretty but the Nebraska Cornhuskers picked up their second road win in the conference on Wednesday night. The Huskers held a nice lead through the game but then seen it dwindle down late in the game before they were able to get out of Boulder with a 55-53 victory. The win in Boulder was the first one for Doc Sadler since he became coach.
As a team the Huskers had a season high 18 turnovers in the game. They are lucky that the Buffaloes committed 13 of their own turnovers or this could have easily been a loss.
Steve Harley and Ryan Anderson both led the Huskers with 12 points each.
Nebraska returns to the court on Saturday when the Huskers host to No. 16 Texas at the Devaney Center. The game will tip off at 1 p.m. and can be seen nationally on ESPN.
