Dish Network Omaha
The Nebraska Football team picked up two more three star committments over the weekend as D.J. Woods and Josh Williams both verbally committed to the program.
Williams, at 6 foot 4, 220 pounds, becomes the second player out of the state of Texas to pledge to NU’s 2008 recruiting class. He registered 68 tackles, including 22 for losses, and added six sacks as a junior for Denton Ryan High School.
Woods, a 6-foot, 169-pound receiver out of Strongsville, Ohio, gave his commitment during a Thursday through Saturday Lincoln visit. Woods had an offer from Ohio State, as well as from Iowa, Auburn, Michigan State, Penn State and West Virginia. Woods is a bigtime get for the program, and a much needed reciever commit for the 2008 class.
Welcome to the Husker family guys!
