There were a couple of changes to the Nebraska Baseball coaching staff yesterday.
First off, hitting coach and former Husker catcher Andy Sawyers has decided to resign from his hitting coach and recruiting coordinator job to pursue other jobs in the Midwest and did not rule out coaching baseball, but did mention of a job outside of baseball that he was interested in. Coach Anderson will now take over as hitting coach along with being head coach.
The other move which is actually the bigger move in my mind is that Dave Bingham will not be the pitching coach for the Huskers next year. He will be more of an assistant coach to Anderson and help out in all areas.
