A great in-state prospect has verbally committed to the Nebraska Football team. Sean Fisher a hard hitting linebacker / safety from Millard North traveled to Lincoln yesterday afternoon to watch some film and he decided to go ahead and verbally committ while he was there.
His final two choices were either Nebraska or Oklahoma and he decided to go ahead and stay in the state of Nebraska to play college football. Fisher mentioned there were two things he liked about Nebraska. Lincoln being close so his family can come watch all the games, and that Nebraska is losing four linebackers after this next season so he thinks he can get some early playing time. I would be suprised if he ends up redshirting just so he can add some more muscle to his frame.
Welcome to the Husker family Sean!
