Ahh hell yeah! My favorite NFL team drafted a Husker today! Jay Moore was selected by the 49ers with the 5th pick in the 4th round of the 2007 NFL Draft today. He was the 104th overall player selected in the draft. Moore will have a great chance to get on the field early with special teams and at the DE/LB position.
With the 49ers running a 3-4 defense, they will love the speed that Moore will bring to the game. He can play that outside backer position, and also get down on the line to put pressure on the quarterback and stop those running plays as well.
Congrats Mr. Moore!
