Toney McCray signed a letter of intent with the Nebraska men’s basketball team late Tuesday night, according to Alan Branch, McCray’s recruiting advisor who works with a basketball scouting service in Houston.
McCray, a 6-foot-6, 180-pound wing player from Missouri City, Texas, faxed his paperwork to Nebraska coach Doc Sadler, Branch said.
McCray, who chose the Huskers over Georgia, becomes the second player to sign with Nebraska during the spring signing period, which began April 11. The other was Ade Dagunduro, also a wing player from Antelope Valley (Calif.) College.

Nebraska sure is getting a quality recruit here! Athletes with great character, stong work ethic, and good decision making on and off the court are pretty rare in today’s day and age. Good luck Toney, we are looking forward to great things in the near future.
