The Nebraska Football team continued on with their spring practices today. The biggest change that everyone is talking about is Major Culbert who is working out at running back once again. I don’t like the idea of a player switching back and forth, especially one who doesn’t have much playing time under their belt. Hopefully they will stick Culbert back in the secondary or atleast let him return some kicks etc.
Also on the defensive side on the ball, it is going to come down to the final week of practices until we find out if Larry Asante or Ricky Thenarse will be the starter. Both players are playing well, and both love to hit hard so whichever one gets the spot for the Huskers will be fun to watch.
The Huskers will practice next on Wednesday, the fifth scheduled workout of spring camp, as the Huskers continue to build toward the April 14 Red-White Spring Game at Memorial Stadium.
