Starting offensive linemen Mike Huff blew out his achilles tendon while performing some speed drills in off season training. Huff had surgery on the achilles yesterday so hopefully he will be back for the start of the season. Sometimes it can take 9 months for it to heal completely though.
We wish Mike the best in his recovery. With the injury to Huff, some of the younger playes like Keith Williams will see more time with the first and second teams for spring ball.
