Nebraska has added another commitment from a top prospect in the Phoenix area. This time it’s 6-foot-4, 310-pound guard Jaivorio Burkes, who said Tuesday he picked the Huskers.
Burkes turned down scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Michigan, Tennessee, Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado and a host of other schools. His final two was Oklahoma and Nebraska and this time the Big Red won out over the Sooners!
He has a big frame and already 310 so with Kennedy’s work you can expect him to lose body fat and gain some muscle to the frame.
We just might get another player from Arizona if Multi-position prospect Prince Amukamara, the Arizona Republic player of the year in the state chooses the Huskers.
