The Nebraska Football team keeps on getting committments this week and this time it is from William Yancy. Yancy is a defensive end from Arizona who picke the Huskers over Purdue and his home state Arizona Wildcats.
Yancy said the Huskers have targeted him to play the open-end spot manned this year by Moore. Yancy has been timed at 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash and owns a vertical leap of 29 inches. Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 4 prospect in Arizona and the 22nd-best player nationally at his position.
As a senior, Yancy said he made 80 tackles, with 10 sacks, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one recovery.ÂÂ
He will also be coming with his teammate Eric Hagg who already committed to the Husker program.
