The Nebraska Football team lost a heartbreaker to Texas on Saturday but it is now time to move onto Oklahoma State as the Huskers and Cowboys will battle it out this Saturday afternoon in Stillwater.
It is the first time since 2002 that the Huskers and Cowboys have played so expect to see a great game by both teams. Oklahoma State comes into the game with a 4-3 overall record and 1-2 in the Big 12. Oklahoma State ranks 75th nationally in rushing defense (144.57 YPG) and 59th in passing defense (197 YPG). The Cowboys are 68th in total defense (341.57 YPG) and 62nd in scoring defense (22.29).
On offense the Cowboys are lead by third year sophomore Bobby Reid who is expected to play despite having a concussion in the Texas A&M game. Reid completes 59% of his passes and as thrown for 1387 yards including 17 touchdowns and six interceptions.
The Cowboys do run the ball pretty well also, as a team they are averaging a little over 200 yards per game. You will see three different running backs get some carries on Saturday.
The Cowboy’s receivers are pretty damn good too, expect to see Adarius Bowman (6-4, 215) and senior D’Juan Woods (6-1, 210) to get plenty of balls thrown to them.
